One more week left to win a $15 voucher to my store! Remember to check out my post here if you haven’t already done so 🙂
It’s been a week or two since I last submitted an entry over at Splendid Stamping. This week’s theme for FFF is Birthday and DTT is color theme of red, teal and green. Beautiful colors 🙂
I’ve used the stamp set Sitting Cute (available in my online store!) and the birthday sentiment is from Penny Blacks’ Birthday Critter set.
The sketch I used is from Sweet Sketch Wednesdays:
And here is my card:
Digital Tuesdays – Layers
Fab and Funky – Ribbon
Delightful Challenges – Anything Goes
Paper Crafting Journey – Anything Goes
Stamping for the Weekend – Anything Goes
Whoopsi Daisy – Celebrate
Pink Elephant – Anything Goes
Awesome sketch over at Anyone for Anya this week! I’ve also followed the color theme from My Time Made Easy.
This card was suuuper easy to make but still has that intricate look. Hmm. I’m not making any sense now! You know what I mean!

Made Princess card today! This is the first time I’ve used this stamp, I was having a tough time embellishing the crown, no clue how to jazz it up. So in the end I ended up adding Stickles to the crown and some rhinestones 🙂
The Greeting Farm – Princess No. 3
Spellbinders – Labels Twenty Two
Creative Cards – Purple
Stamptacular Sunday – Bling it On
Paper Shelter – Anything Goes
I really need to start using digi’s that I’ve invested on. It’s hard since you don’t physically see it when you’re choosing your stamps. But I made sure the next card I made was a digi.
This one is from The Greeting Farm Jessica. It’s also the first time I incorporated vellum to a card. It looks pretty nice I think, I’m trying to stay away from always using a white back drop but thought the background (scalloped oval) was too strong. So I added the vellum to lighten up the brown. Worked out well 🙂
Daring Cardmakers – Vellum
This is my first easel card ever!
A friend at work had asked me to make a card for his wife’s 37th birthday. I told him to tell me some things about her:
Loves to shop
With a twist with my creativity, I give you….
I was entering my cards into challenges so I tried to make sure I use certain elements into the card, ie. Bow, colors, die cuts etc.
For this project I used:
The Greeting Farm – Miss Anya Collection
Spellbinders – Label Eighteen, Floral Ovals, Classic Ovals
Totally Stampalicious – Ribbon Challenge
House of Gilli – More than One Fold
Papertake Weekly – Things that make you go Awww
Color Throwdown – Fall Colors (The green I used on the oval didn’t turn up as well in the photo, hope that counts..)
Paper Shelter – Punch it!
Your Next Stamp – Friendship (Shaheen isn’t my friend, but her husband sure was for me to make a beautiful card!)
Deep Ocean Challenge – Good Bye Summer
Make it Monday
Creatalicious Challenge – Color Palate
IDIC Challenge – More than One Fold
I’ve had this cutey colored for a year now and I finally get to use it! My fave about her is the skirt. I used Stickles (Cotton Candy) then applied Glossy Accents to create that epoxy look to her skirt. I added rhinestones to her hair like a hair tie.
I used The Greeting Farm Flutter Anya and Spellbinders Lacey Squares, Pico Circles, Classic Circles and Big Scalloped Circles. The sentiments were from Penny Black Critter Party and the second one I’ve actually lost the packaging and don’t know which stamp set it came from 😦
Anyone for Anya – Creamy Latte
The Squirrel and the Fox – Anything Goes
I told you the next few cards will be from the I Want Candy digi set. So here’s the second one. Super cute!
This is the first time where I made a pop up with a part of the actual image. I printed off a second copy of the lollipop, added stickes (Star Dust) then added Glossy Accents.
I used the sketch from Feeling Sketchy and the color challenge was from Your Next Stamp which was turquoise, lime, green and brown. My favorite colors 🙂

Challenges 4 Everybody– anything goes
When I first saw this digi, which came in a set of 4 (so yes, expect more to come) I knew I had to get it right away! They’re so adorable, easy to color and fun to play around with!
For this image I just wanted to play around with her curly hair which is super cute! I added rhinestones for her toppings just to add some dimension to it.
The sketch was from Mojo Monday:
The candies are actually from another image that came with the same digi set. No worries, it’s coming 😉 I added Stickles Star Dust just like in the hair and added Glossy Accents to make it look like an epoxy sticker. I kind of squished it thinking that it had fully dried. The sentiment was from Penny Blacks stamps set Bubbly. I also used Spellbinders Edgeabilities – Classic Scallops.

For my friend’s birthday this year I decided to make something different this year. I’ve never made anything other than a card so this is a first. The image is from The Greeting Farm – Geeky Cheeky which I colored for a while. I knew I was going to use it for Carol’s card, so finally today it’s in use!
I used the happy birthday stamp from Penny Black’s It’s Your Day stamp set. I also used Spellbinders Label Eighteen and stamped it with Hero Arts background stamp – Friends Definition. The text in the background is from the washi tape I used (for the first time in a year) I couldn’t add too much texture embellishments (buttons etc) otherwise its not really going to work between pages of a book. I used Rangers Gloss for the hair and and the sentiment was heat embossed with Stamendous Pearlustre Hematite.
